If you’re fly fishing for trout, you should know how to tie a clinch knot. Check out this video and learn the easy way to tie this useful knot.
In case you missed anything here are the steps for tying the clinch knot:
1.) Thread the line through the fly leaving a tag end
2.) Pinch the tag end and spin it between your thumb and forefinger
3.) Try to get about five twists in the line
4.) Take the tag end and thread it through the loop next to the eye of the fly hook
5.) Pull tight on both ends of the line
