1.) Pull the tag end through the eye of the hook giving yourself about six inches of slack
2.) Holding your thumb on the eye of the hook, wrap the tag end around your thumb three times
3.) Removed your thumb and thread the tag end through the loops
4.) Pull the tag end tight and trim the excess line.
