The Arrowhead Ice Fishing and Winter Show is back this year at the Duluth Entrainment Convention Center after taking a hiatus in February of 2020. The event is set for December 10-12 and will feature retailers and manufacturers showcasing ice fishing and winter outdoor gear.
While there are some shortages due to supply chain issues Chris Navratil, vice president of Farmington, Minnesota-based Shamrock Productions, Inc told reporters, “The word is that they expect to be getting a lot more product coming in right before the show starts. But a lot of them already have good supplies on hand.”
There will be attractions for all members of the family, even those who don’t fish. This year there will be a show by the Sea Lion Splash, an adopted family of rescued and trained sea lions, performing throughout the day.
Show hours are Friday, noon to 8 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m to 8 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for youth ages 6-17. Kids 5 and under are free. Parking at the DECC is $5 for this event only. Tell the attendant that you are attending the ice fishing show. For more information visit the Arrowhead Ice Show’s website.
