Recently a group of four anglers were fishing off the coast of Sea Isle City, New Jersey when they came across a huge great white shark. The short news story below features interviews with the anglers who had this close encounter.
These anglers didn’t end up catching any fish they could keep, but the memories they made will last a lifetime. It’s not often that a great white that large is seen that close to shore. Even more rare, is that people are able to get such good footage of this apex predator from the side of a boat.
As mentioned in the video, great white sharks make these trips regularly this time of year and rarely come in contact with humans.
