Angler Breaks 22-Year-Old Kansas Fishing Record

Tami Sanderson broke a Kansas state record that stood for 22 years in a local farm pond in Sherman County. She landed a yellow perch which weighed in at 1.46 pounds and was 13.66 inches in length.

She was using a rod and reel setup with minnow as bait and broke the previous record that was set in 2000. The previous record setting fish weighed 1.06 pounds and was 14 inches in length.
