New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart is making the most of his first NFL offseason and doing it far from the football field. The 22-year-old quarterback recently traveled to Los Cabos, Mexico, with his girlfriend, Marissa Ayers, where the couple enjoyed sunshine, open water, and an unforgettable deep-sea fishing trip.
Photos and videos shared on social media showed Dart and Ayers aboard a charter boat, smiling as they landed a massive tuna. The relaxed outing highlighted a different side of the rookie quarterback, who traded his helmet and playbook for fishing rods and ocean views after completing his first professional season.

The trip was hosted by Warrior Sportfishing Los Cabos, with local fisherman Felipe Valdez leading the day on the water. Valdez praised the couple in an Instagram post, thanking them for choosing his crew and describing the outing as a memorable experience. He noted the positive energy on board and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to fish with them.
Several images from the trip quickly caught attention online. One photo shows Dart gripping a fishing rod while flexing his arm, clearly enjoying the moment. Other shots capture him shirtless on deck, filming the experience on his phone as Ayers stood nearby, enjoying the catch and the coastal scenery. The photos blended professional sports star power with a classic offshore fishing adventure.
Dart and Ayers made their relationship public on January 9 after months of speculation. Rumors first surfaced in October 2025 when they were seen together at a Halloween party. Interest grew later that year when Ayers appeared with Dartβs mother at a Giants game. Ayers is a model, social media influencer, and ring girl who gained wider recognition following a high-profile boxing match in mid-2025.
While Dart has not spoken extensively about his personal life, he has shared insight into his offseason mindset. After a demanding year that included the draft process, preseason preparation, and his rookie NFL campaign, Dart said he has taken time to relax and recharge.
That downtime will not last long. With the Super Bowl approaching, Dart has indicated that training and preparation for the upcoming season are next on his schedule. Until then, the Los Cabos fishing trip stands out as a well-earned break, highlighted by a massive catch and time spent enjoying the offseason with Ayers.
