As many in Texas were preparing for a cold front to come through, this angler was out fishing under the docks for big crappie. The fish apparently knew to stock up on food before the storm hit and he was in the right place at the right time to land a big one.
As you just saw this angler was testing out his theory regarding how crappie binge eat before a storm rolls in. It apparently proved to be true because many big fish were coming under the dock and he was able to land four nice looking bass and crappie in a short window.
Remember this for the next time you go fishing and know that even the fish prepare for a storm in Texas.
