Recently, at the Lake Erie Walleye Trail Tournament in Ohio two anglers were caught cheating when officials found weights in their fish. Jacob Runyan and Chase Cominsky who have been big winners on the pro fishing scene in recent years were caught red handed at a weigh in and now will likely face criminal charges.
Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley told reporters, “I take all crime seriously, including attempted felony theft at a fishing tournament. These individuals will be held accountable.”
Others became suspicious of Runyan and Cominsky when their fish which were smaller than the second place fish and weighed five pounds more. Turns out the two were tipping the scales in their favor, but they were caught in the end.
