Baked Cod Fish Made Easy at Home

This is not your grandmother’s baked cod recipe. Check out the video below and learn how to make cod at home with a lemon garlic parmesan twist.

As you just saw that cod recipe was very simple and didn’t take long to prepare. In case you missed anything, find the steps listed out below

1.) Preheat oven to 400 and grease a small baking dish
2.) Lay cod fish filets in dish and season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
3.) In a small bowl, stir together 1/2 a stick of softened butter, 2 tablespoons freshly grated parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, 3 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon dried basil, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon dijon mustard, and 1 lemon juiced
4.) Top each fillet with a large spoonful of the butter mixture
5.) Bake for about 10 minute until fish flakes easily with a fork

Keep in mind the cod will bake differently depending on how thick they are so be sure to check this when cooking at home.
