Finding Rare Grouper in the Mangroves

Luiza and the crew visit Mexico on the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula and find a rare grouper. Watch as they tour the mangroves in the saltwater tributaries of these amazingly fruitful waters.

Did you see the size of that grouper? The crew was in the mangroves which is only about 6 feet deep, so to find a broomtail grouper at that depth is very rare. It was in impressive catch considering they are usually found in water that is at least 27 feet deep.

The mangroves are a bountiful and tropical destination for anglers seeking an escape from the normal. So consider checking out this place if you’re in the mood for a change of pace.
